Word tester

Fijn dat je TrooPal als een van de eersten wilt uitproberen! Volg de 2 stappen hieronder, dat hoeft maar één keer.

Google vereist dit als tussenstap om te bepalen wie mag meetesten. Log in met het Google-account waarmee je straks ook de app installeert.

Let op: je komt op een Google-pagina terecht die zegt dat je geen toegang hebt tot deze content. Dat is normaal, geen fout. Klik daar op de knop "Lid worden van de groep" (of "Join group") om écht lid te worden, en ga daarna terug naar deze pagina voor stap 2.

Open daarna deze link (met hetzelfde Google-account) en klik op "Become a tester". Daarna verschijnt een link naar de testversie in de Play Store. Installeer de app zoals je dat gewend bent.

Let op: stap 2 werkt pas ná stap 1. Zie je geen "Become a tester"-knop of een foutmelding? Wacht een paar minuten (Google heeft soms even tijd nodig) en probeer het opnieuw.

Wat verwachten we van je?

Google wil zien dat de app echt gebruikt wordt voordat TrooPal breed beschikbaar mag komen. Daarom vragen we je, de eerste 14 dagen:

Installeer de app zodra je toegang hebt.
Open de app elke dag.
Doe daarin dagelijks een paar korte dingen, bijvoorbeeld een activiteit bekijken of aanmaken.

Wil je de app liever meteen grondig uitproberen? Heel graag zelfs. Hoe meer je gebruikt, hoe waardevoller je feedback voor ons is.

Vrienden uitnodigen mag altijd

Dat maakt testen bovendien een stuk leuker. Deel vanuit de app een link met iemand die TrooPal nog niet heeft: die persoon kan meteen meedoen via de webapp, ook zonder Android-toestel.

Gebruikt iemand wel Android en wil die ook de native app proberen? Dan komt diegene bij het klikken op "Download de app" vanzelf op deze pagina terecht en kan zich meteen bij de testgroep aansluiten, net als jij deed. Je hoeft deze pagina dus niet apart door te sturen.

Join the test group

Google requires this as an intermediate step to determine who's allowed to test. Sign in with the Google account you'll also install the app with.

Note: you'll land on a Google page saying you don't have access to this content. That's normal, not an error. Click the "Join group" button there to actually become a member, then come back to this page for step 2.

Become a Play Store tester

Then open this link (with the same Google account) and click "Become a tester". A link to the test version in the Play Store will then appear. Install the app as usual.

Note: step 2 only works after step 1. Don't see a "Become a tester" button, or an error? Wait a few minutes (Google sometimes needs a moment) and try again.

What do we expect from you?

Google wants to see that the app is actually being used before TrooPal can become widely available. That's why we ask you, for the first 14 days, to:

Install the app as soon as you have access.
Open the app every day.
Do a few short things in it daily, e.g. viewing or creating an activity.

Would you rather try the app thoroughly right away? Please do. The more you use it, the more valuable your feedback is to us.

Inviting friends is always welcome

It also makes testing a lot more fun. Share a link from the app with someone who doesn't have TrooPal yet: that person can join right away via the web app, even without an Android device.

Does someone use Android and want to try the native app too? Then clicking "Download the app" automatically brings them to this page, where they can join the test group right away, just like you did. So you don't need to forward this page separately.
